As the Canadian population ages, the demand for healthcare professionals will continue to grow, and Personal Support Workers are needed across Ontario now more than ever. Sprucedale Care Centre is a family-owned and operated long-term care facility in the heart of downtown Strathroy. Sprucedale Care Centre and its interdisciplinary team of physicians, dieticians, nurses, and Personal Support Workers work together to provide long-term care for its 96 residents.
triOS College will be partnering with Sprucedale Care Centre to equip students pursuing PSW careers with the skills they need to succeed. This partnership will offer students opportunities to gain meaningful, real-world experience by learning directly in a Long-Term Care home while completing their education.

Personal Support Worker Program
Our PSW program is approved by the National Association of Career Colleges. Graduates receive a triOS Certificate upon completion of the program.
You will be expertly trained in safety and mobility, care planning, body systems, assisting with medications, and other key areas of the field so you can graduate and hit the ground running at Omni or any other care facility.
Students receive:
- National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) curriculum that maps to the Ontario Provincial approved training standard;
- Classroom in a real-world healthcare setting that includes hospital beds, wheelchairs and other required equipment;
- Clinical work placement in a long-term care and retirement homes;
- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Imagine Standard and Windows are included in the program fees.
