About Our Cybersecurity Specialist Program
Build practical, job-ready skills in systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity. This 65-week diploma program provides training in Windows and Linux environments, desktop and server administration, IT service and project management, network technologies, and enterprise security.
Through hands-on labs, practical projects, and real-world scenarios, you will learn how to identify vulnerabilities, monitor systems and networks, respond to security incidents, and apply defensive and offensive security techniques. You will also develop skills in configuring Cisco and wireless network technologies, conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, and designing, implementing, and auditing security within enterprise environments.
The program includes a 12-week internship, giving you the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a professional workplace, gain industry experience, and build confidence before graduating.
The program also prepares you to pursue eligible industry-recognized certification exams from CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, and CWNA.
In this program, you will learn how to use online resources, advanced search techniques, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support technical problem-solving where applicable.

The program is offered online through live, instructor-led sessions that combine the flexibility of online learning with real-time interaction and support from experienced instructors. Students can also access campus support at several locations, including Toronto, London, Mississauga, Brampton, Kitchener, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Windsor.

Admission Requirements
You must:
- have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
OR
- be at least 18 years old when or before the program begins AND pass a qualifying test* that has been approved by the Superintendent. (The approved qualifying test for this program is the Wonderlic test with a passing score of 20.)
* If you’re applying from other Canadian provinces, you must:
- be at least 19 years old,
- be out of high school for at least 1 year when the program starts, and
- successfully pass an academic achievement test.
