triOS College’s Diversity Council promotes diversity and inclusion by providing oversight on diversity efforts and promoting awareness through various strategic initiatives.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Policy Statement:

At triOS College, we proudly embrace diversity as a cornerstone of our identity. We are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and welcoming environment for all students, staff, and community members. Recognizing the transformative power of diversity and inclusion, we established our Diversity and Inclusion Council in 2020. This dedicated team, composed of representatives from our campuses, drives meaningful organizational change by championing initiatives that prioritize respect, belonging, and opportunity across every level of our institution.

As we move forward, these principles will continue to guide every step of our journey, ensuring a culture that thrives on equity, collaboration, and connection.

Objective & Mission of our Diversity and Inclusion Council

Our Diversity and Inclusion Council plays a pivotal role in embedding Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) into our mission, strategies, and operations. By promoting accountability, driving communication, and providing oversight, the Council ensures that our DEIB initiatives create real impact. Focused on fostering organizational change, the Council evaluates our DEIB efforts, implements improvements, and connects these activities to a broader, results-oriented strategy that aligns with our vision.

Our Council is focused on five main pillars:

  • Awareness-Building – Enhancing engagement through education and promoting greater understanding across our community.
  • Data Collection – Gaining deeper insights into the diversity and dynamics of our student and staff populations to inform our strategies.
  • Training and Enablement – Developing and delivering resources that empower staff and students to foster inclusivity in their daily lives.
  • Employee attraction and retention – Creating equitable hiring and onboarding processes to attract, support, and retain diverse talent.
  • Process Procedure & Policy Inclusive Language – Reviewing and refining our policies, procedures, and program materials to ensure inclusivity at every level of our organization.
