Law Clerk Specialists help lawyers and judges in several legal settings by liaising with clients, drafting legal documents, and managing their workload. The Law Clerk Specialist program diploma program at triOS College equips students with the skills they need to become successful job-ready graduates. Christa C is a graduate of our Law Clerk Specialist program who was hired on while still in an internship. Read her testimonial below to learn about her experience in the program:

Prior to attending triOS College, I worked as a hairdresser for 20 years and in a management position for 16.

Christa, a recent grad from triOS College’s Law Clerk diploma program, gives her testimonial about her experience in the program.

My experience was good from beginning to end, all the staff was supportive in helping me to adapt to a completely new setting. I started off in class and then through the COVID-19 pandemic ended up completing the majority of my course online. Lori Magda was my law instructor, so I had her for 8 months of this program. She was absolutely fantastic and extremely knowledgeable in all areas of law. Unfortunately, we missed out on visits to the courthouse for field trips, but Lori made up for anything we would have missed. Overall, every instructor I had was great and I have no complaints.

I started my internship at a Family Law office and stayed for 3 weeks, and then completed my internship with another Law office that deals with mainly wills and powers of attorney, real estate, and corporate including litigation and estates. I switched my internship only because the family law firm didn’t have a position to offer afterward so allowed me to go on interviews and I succeeded in getting hired three weeks into my internship to have the remaining paid.

I would recommend triOS for the Law Clerk program especially with Lori Magda’s knowledge and expertise. I went back to college with a new appreciation for how much hard work needs to go in and time and patience. No matter where you go there is constant learning after you are done, we are never finished, triOS prepared me for afterwards.
