This part-time, 21-week certificate allows you to integrate safe and effective acupuncture techniques into your existing scope of practice, enhancing pain management, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and patient outcomes.

    With a blend of online and in-person learning, this program supports your professional growth without disrupting your current schedule. It also qualifies as advanced standing toward the Acupuncture Practitioner diploma program, should you choose to continue your studies. Campus support is available in Toronto, London, Mississauga, Brampton, Kitchener, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Windsor.

    Advance your clinical practice with a focused acupuncture certificate grounded in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

    Designed for regulated healthcare professionals, this program provides the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills needed to safely and effectively integrate acupuncture into your current scope of practice. You’ll study core subjects such as acupuncture point locations, TCM theory, Meridian pathways, needling techniques, and clinical safety, while gaining exposure to diagnostic frameworks used in TCM.

    Hands-on learning is reinforced through observation clinics and client-facing experiences in a supervised setting, preparing you to treat musculoskeletal conditions and common patterns of disharmony. Flexible scheduling allows you to continue working while training, with a mix of instructor-led online classes and in-person weekend sessions.

    Must be: Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) or Physiotherapist or Chiropractor or Medical Doctor qualified to practice in Ontario.

    SKILL/PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • A copy of an existing vulnerable person background check is required and to be submitted prior to participating in any clinic activity. If one does not exist, it must be acquired.
    • Students must complete all academic pre-requisites and complete 12 hours of Clinical Observation prior to participating in any clinic activity.
