TORONTO – As part of the provinces $4.9 billion investment in hiring more than 27,000 long-term care staff, the Government of Ontario will allocate $673 million to long-term care homes this year. This will lead to more direct care for residents by hiring and retaining up to 10,000 long-term care staff across the province.
