triOS College and Mohawk College Celebrate Expansion of Mississauga Campus

MISSISSAUGA – On Thursday, September 21st, triOS College, in partnership with Mohawk College, celebrated the expansion of their campus in the heart of Mississauga.

The campus, which officially opened in September 2022, has now been expanded to 35 classrooms and additional space for student support staff, allowing for more students to receive practical, hands-on instruction and extensive student support services in Mississauga.

The Mohawk College Early Childhood Education diploma program is now offered at the Mississauga campus.  Mohawk has been training Early Childhood Educators in Hamilton since 1994 and now offers the same program in Mississauga to support the high employment demand in the area.

“The expansion of this campus is a wonderful opportunity to train more international students for in-demand careers, right here, in Mississauga.  The expanded space also includes additional space for student events, additional student support staff, and expanded career services staff to support student success”, said CEO Frank Gerencser. 

“With this expansion and our continued partnership with triOS College, we are offering more programs and serving more students at a time when the community, and the province, have an acute need for a trained workforce,” said Mohawk College President and CEO Ron J. McKerlie. “Our mission at Mohawk College is to educate and prepare highly skilled graduates for success and contribution to the community, Canada and the world. The education taking place at the Mohawk College Mississauga Campus is truly aligned with that mission.”
