Paralegal - Part-time - Instructor
The primary purpose of the instructor position is to plan, organize and deliver curricula to students in an instructor led environment. The Paralegal Instructor will be responsible to teach and facilitate courses to classes of students in the Paralegal program. The instructor will evaluate student performance relating to the curricula using a variety of assessments. The instructor will assist with activities to support student success, including student internship and job placement, industry liaison and administrative functions where required.

- University degree in a related field (Paralegal, Law, etc.) is required.
- A Lawyer or Paralegal license.
- Law Society Registration Number is required to submit to the Law Society of Ontario (LSO).
- In good standing with the LSO.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in a Canadian legal environment is required.
- It is preferred that instructors have Adult Education experience.
- Ability to enhance written material with personal experience.
- Required criteria as outlined in the Regulations to Private Career Colleges Act 2005 (s. 41 and 42 of Reg 415/06).
Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position. Hours of work will be 1pm-5pm, 2-3 days per week.
The scheduled start for this opportunity is immediate.
This position will start off teaching remotely, but may have to commute to our Hamilton campus.
